Sentinela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Rui Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Jesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. SC Carrapata's Basílio Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SC Carrapata from getting a goal against them. SC Carrapata's Basílio Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Moreira in the 34th minute of play. Tiago Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Basílio Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sentinela. In the 37th minute Rui Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Basílio Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Sentinela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carrapata the free kick. The supporters of SC Carrapata booed when Sentinela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sentinela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amadeu Morais was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Carrapata's players had a chance to rest. The corner led SC Carrapata's Amadeu Morais to fire away a dangerous shot which Nuno Campos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Rui Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, António Ramos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nuno Campos, passed just outside the right post. Basílio Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Moreira in the 91st minute of the match. The SC Carrapata players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
