Domingos Queirós came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Sentinela's Tiago Pacheco. But to his dismay, Tiago Pacheco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Álvaro Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Carregueiro's protests and gave Álvaro Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. Álvaro Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sentinela's goalkeeper Nuno Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Amorim hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Eduardo Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sentinela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carregueiro the free kick. The supporters of SC Carregueiro booed when Sentinela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Tiago Pacheco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Pacheco got free with Domingos Queirós in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SC Carregueiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sentinela's performance. The match ended with a win for Sentinela.
