In the 19th minute, SC Serralva's Afonso Branco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Pereira. SC Silvaescura's Gil Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Branco in the 30th minute of play. Henrique Cunha hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, SC Silvaescura's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Branco came free, but Gil Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Carneiro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Silvaescura's Diamantino Dias. But to his dismay, Diamantino Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Gabriel Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Moreira to make the kick off. Marco Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Carneiro having to interfere. Luís Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, José Antunes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Silvaescura's Gil Pereira. Gil Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Costa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes of play, SC Serralva's Afonso Branco made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Silvaescura's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
