The referee showed Delfim Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Temporao getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Delfim Figueiredo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Assunção in the 11th minute of play forced SC Temporao's goalkeeper Artur Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Delfim Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Temporao and the Bujoes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Temporao getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Delfim Domingues hit a great ball. Viriato Fonseca scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Lourenço Moutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bujoes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Temporao the free kick. The Bujoes FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Temporao were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Temporao's zone, Lourenço Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Melo came out of the goal and Lourenço Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lourenço Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Artur Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bujoes FC's Lourenço Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute Inácio Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes SC Temporao got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Viana. André Alves acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Afonso Fernandes. 81 minutes into the match, Bujoes FC's goalkeeper André Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viriato Fonseca. Thanks to some nice moves Viriato Fonseca could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which André Alves however easily saved by the left post. André Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Lourenço Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Melo having to interfere. Lourenço Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Artur Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Temporao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
