Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Coimbra got the match started through his kick off. SC Cortegada's Amadeu Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SC Cortegada booed when Civado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Amadeu Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Américo Resende notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Cortegada's Gabriel Barbosa. Gabriel Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 31 minutes on the clock, Diamantino Silva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for SC Cortegada. Pedro Nogueira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fábio Mota. 1-1. Fábio Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeu Amaro went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Américo Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Civado FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Cortegada were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Resende to make the kick off. Amadeu Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fábio Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Matias's late challenge caught a SC Cortegada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Matias helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Civado FC! Pedro Nogueira shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 67 minutes, Américo Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Civado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Resende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Américo Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Civado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Matias struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Paulo Cabral hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Civado FC's goalkeeper Fábio Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Amaro. Miguel Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Mota having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Civado FC's João Azevedo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Coimbra in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Cortegada's Miguel Coimbra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fábio Mota. That made the score 1-3 after 97 minutes of play. The Civado FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Cortegada's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Cortegada.
