Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Oliveira started the match with the kick off. Samil:s Eusébio Macedo showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Fernandes:s penalty. 8 minutes into the game, Pedro Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eusébio Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 10 minutes, Viriato Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Abitureiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Samil's zone, Viriato Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Macedo came out of the goal and Viriato Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, SC Abitureiras's Manuel Pinho got control of the ball when Fernando Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Pinho having to interfere. Gonçalo Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Macedo having to make a save. Eusébio Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Oliveira in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Viriato Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Abitureiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Viriato Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Samil's goalkeeper Eusébio Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half SC Abitureiras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Macedo to make the kick off. Samil were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after SC Abitureiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquim Setúbal took the corner. Samil's Joaquim Setúbal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manuel Pinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joaquim Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Fernando Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samil and the SC Abitureiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62ndth minute of the game Viriato Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samil's Eusébio Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Samil's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonçalo Lima fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Fernando Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Fernando Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samil's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Macedo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gonçalo Lima sent off a good shot on target. Eusébio Macedo was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Viriato Oliveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viriato Oliveira really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Abitureiras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
