In the 7th minute, Henrique Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Rodrigues in the 16th minute of the match. If Joaquim Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Joaquim Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Rocha's late challenge caught a Nebrijo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, João Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Soares having to interfere. Rogério Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henrique Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Henrique Costa made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Henrique Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corterredor's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílcar Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Nebrijo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílcar Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandro Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sandro Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Catarino Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Catarino Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Henrique Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Nebrijo FC's Amílcar Cunha got control of the ball when Henrique Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandro Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Corterredor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Rodrigues in the 86th minute of play forced Corterredor's goalkeeper Júlio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Lima struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Amílcar Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corterredor. A collision led to Corterredor getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Afonso Lima hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
