Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sandro Rodrigues started the match with the kick off. Amílcar Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Resende, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Álvaro Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Amílcar Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Álvaro Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nebrijo FC's Catarino Carneiro got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Paulo Borba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nebrijo FC and the Meieiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amílcar Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 19 played minutes Nebrijo FC got a freekick which was hit by José Fernandes. Gaspar Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Rodrigues in the 25th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Nebrijo FC's Paulo Borba tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Meieiras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sandro Rodrigues 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Emanuel Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Álvaro Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meieiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Pinto made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Nebrijo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Pinto came free, but Amílcar Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Amílcar Cunha made a huge save. Lúcio Valente was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. The referee gave Nebrijo FC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Borba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Meieiras's Gaspar Dantas. 2-1. When Álvaro Alves came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Meieiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Alves couldn't finish the play. Amílcar Cunha was a little too slow when Daniel Resende got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 3-2. 93 minutes into the match, Sandro Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Dantas. Meieiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nebrijo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Meieiras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
