If Sebastião Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 4th minute, Martinzes FC's Albertino Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Carneiro. Gabriel Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Filipe Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Cardoso in the 9th minute of the match. Gaspar Miranda hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Albertino Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gabriel Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Barbosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Carneiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albertino Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Carneiro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Chaviao's zone, Albertino Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Carneiro came out of the goal and Albertino Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Chaviao's Gabriel Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SC Chaviao from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Lucas Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Chaviao's Gabriel Carneiro got control of the ball when Sebastião Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Lourenço Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chaviao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martinzes FC the free kick. After 36 played minutes SC Chaviao got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Pires. Albertino Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gabriel Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Afonso Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Barbosa in the 59th minute of play forced SC Chaviao's goalkeeper Gabriel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, SC Chaviao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Aleixo having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, SC Chaviao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Maia to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastião Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Aleixo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Aleixo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Chaviao getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mário Aleixo hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes SC Chaviao got a freekick which was hit by Mário Aleixo. Martinzes FC's Filipe Aleixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Martinzes FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Afonso Paredes could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Filipe Aleixo however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Filipe Aleixo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mário Aleixo got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st minute, Mário Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastião Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Filipe Aleixo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Paredes in the 95th minute.
