Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albertino Brito started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Hélder Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galeota FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Martinzes FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Dantas. Galeota FC's Júlio Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Ferro in the 10th minute of play forced Martinzes FC's goalkeeper Filipe Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Albertino Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martinzes FC's Albertino Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipe Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Ferro in the 23rd minute of play. Sebastião Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Adolfo Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martinzes FC. After 31 played minutes Galeota FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Reis. 34 minutes into the match, Galeota FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Barbosa. Júlio Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Aleixo having to interfere. When Júlio Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Galeota FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Queirós couldn't finish the play. Filipe Aleixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Ferro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Luís Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galeota FC's protests and gave Luís Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galeota FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luís Cabral hit a great ball. Galeota FC's Adolfo Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Galeota FC from getting a goal against them. When Albertino Brito, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Adolfo Andrade was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Hélder Ferro made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Hélder Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Martinzes FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cristiano Barros hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Sebastião Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Galeota FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nuno Figueiredo hit a great ball. Albertino Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adolfo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertino Brito's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Adolfo Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Filipe Reis's late challenge caught a Martinzes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Albertino Brito succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Martinzes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
