Emanuel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Porto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Raul Guerreiro 35 minutes into the match. If Emanuel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Raul Guerreiro made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Gomes to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SC Torre's Emanuel Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raul Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Porto in the 66th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
