Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Andrade took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joaquim Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A long shot from Adolfo Machado in the 4th minute of play was well struck, but Paulo Andrade made a really good save at the right post. In the 7thth minute of the game Vasco Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sardos's Viriato Coimbra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Sardos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Viriato Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Sardos's Emanuel Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sardos's goalkeeper Viriato Coimbra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Coimbra having to interfere. Jorge Andrade scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viriato Coimbra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viriato Coimbra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasco Pinho went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Vasco Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Viriato Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Cardosas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emanuel Alves made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Cardosas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Morais to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Alves in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Andrade saved Cardosas from getting behind. Adolfo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paulo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Delfim Ferro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sardos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardosas the free kick. A collision led to Sardos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Delfim Ferro hit a great ball. The supporters of Sardos booed when Cardosas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cardosas's Paulo Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Gomes in the 64th minute of play. Jorge Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Coimbra having to interfere. Delfim Ferro got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Vasco Pinho took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Coimbra. Viriato Coimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After having played for 78 minutes, Jorge Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardosas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Cardosas booed when Sardos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered loudly when Alexandre Leão's long shot in the 80th minute became 0-5 when the ball went to the left of and passed Viriato Coimbra. Viriato Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cardosas's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Gomes came free, but Paulo Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sardos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Neto couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Cardosas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sardos.
