Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Tavares got the match started through his kick off. Nuno Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Matos having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Sousa was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Touria FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Sousa came free, but Miguel Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Sousa in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, SC Verdozedo's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Tavares came free, but Sebastião Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Tavares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastião Abreu came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Tavares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armindo Ribeiro during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
