Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Abreu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ciladas FC's Fábio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Abreu in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of SC Cerdedo booed when Ciladas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Fernando Coelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábio Pires skillfully saved the ball. José Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduardo Paredes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. José Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gustavo Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Afonso Aguiar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábio Pires skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Albertino Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cerdedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Ciladas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Correia to maneuver through the defense. When Joaquim Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SC Cerdedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Abreu couldn't finish the play. Fábio Pires came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Cerdedo's Albertino Trindade. But to his dismay, Albertino Trindade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Cabrals short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Gustavo Teixeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albertino Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Pires having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Jaime Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Paredes made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Trindade in the 53rd minute of play forced Ciladas FC's goalkeeper Fábio Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Ciladas FC were awarded a corner. Jaime Cunha went to the cornerflag to take it. Ciladas FC's Jaime Cunha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustavo Teixeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eduardo Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Teixeira having to interfere. Gustavo Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Cabral in the 63rd minute of play. Gustavo Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Paredes in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Daniel Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cerdedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciladas FC the free kick. Daniel Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes in the game, Eduardo Paredes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cerdedo's zone, José Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Teixeira came out of the goal and José Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Cerdedo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Joaquim Abreu hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ciladas FC's Jaime Cunha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The SC Cerdedo fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when SC Cerdedo's Albertino Trindade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 94 played minutes SC Cerdedo got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Trindade. Gustavo Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Paredes in the 95th minute of the match. The SC Cerdedo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Cerdedo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
