Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Melo started the match with the kick off. When André Machado came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Serapicos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Machado couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Daniel Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serapicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When André Machado fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serapicos's protests and gave André Machado a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Serapicos got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Baptista. Alexandre Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Vaz. Serapicos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rui Nunes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santar FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Daniel Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Antunes in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Daniel Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Moura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Amorim struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serapicos. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Antunes to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, André Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Valente in the 59th minute of play forced Santar FC's goalkeeper Daniel Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lucas Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santar FC's protests and gave Lucas Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. If Oliveira Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Magalhães hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Oliveira Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliveira Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Moura having to make a save. Pedro Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Pedro Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serapicos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Pedro Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Moura was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Alexandre Vaz came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Santar FC's Oliveira Magalhães. But to his dismay, Oliveira Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With his leg Alexandre Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Santar FC's Oliveira Magalhães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Daniel Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Serapicos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Amorim couldn't finish the play. Serapicos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santar FC for a fine match.
