Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Bemfeita's Gil Paiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Álvaro Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diamantino Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Ruivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Paiva came free, but Nuno Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Ribeiro was a little too slow when Joaquim Marques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gil Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Ribeiro having to interfere. The supporters of SC Bemfeita booed when Ruivas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gil Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the SC Bemfeita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Paiva couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Inácio Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Filipe Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Luís Monteiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diamantino Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Joaquim Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruivas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Marques in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Barbosa during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Joaquim Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joaquim Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes in the game, Gil Paiva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nuno Ribeiro having to interfere. Diamantino Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Rocha in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Joaquim Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nuno Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Amorim during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ruivas FC's Cláudio Amorim got a free kick in the 56th minute. Joaquim Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nuno Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Amorim in the 74th minute of the match. Joaquim Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ruivas FC's Luís Monteiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Bemfeita. Diamantino Macedo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Joaquim Pires sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Álvaro Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nuno Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Marques in the 94th minute of play forced Ruivas FC's goalkeeper Nuno Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, SC Bemfeita's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Rocha came free, but Diamantino Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ruivas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Bemfeita.
