Oliveira Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Borba in the 46th minute of play forced SC Nafarros's goalkeeper Daniel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Nafarros getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alfredo Vieira hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Diamantino Borba made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. When Oliveira Faria came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SC Laranjeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Faria couldn't finish the play.
