Daniel Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Viriato Guarda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Torres, 1-0. A hard shot 10 in the game by Ricardo Esteves from a close distance when the talented Daniel Torres managed to make a qualified save. SC Nafarros's players were relieved. With his leg Daniel Torres managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Surribas FC's Ricardo Esteves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Surribas FC's zone, André Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Leite came out of the goal and André Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Viriato Guarda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Torres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Afonso Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Afonso Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Setúbal in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Gonçalo Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Surribas FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Setúbal came free, but Jorge Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Nafarros's zone, Viriato Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Torres came out of the goal and Viriato Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Afonso Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Setúbal in the 75th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Surribas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Nafarros:s goal. The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 79th minute, where SC Nafarros:s Gil Tavares tricked Surribas FC:s Jorge Leite with a difficult ball by the left post. André Setúbal spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Surribas FC's goal. André Setúbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Leite having to make a save. André Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jorge Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Nafarros. Afonso Carneiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 92nd playminute. Jorge Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Setúbal in the 97th minute of play. The Surribas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Nafarros's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Nafarros.
