Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Borges in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11thth minute of the game Rodrigo Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alinhavao's Alexandre Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. When SC Coucao's João Matias in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, João Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The supporters of SC Coucao booed when Alinhavao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball.
