Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Armando Neto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrique Assis. Armando Neto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Francisco Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Valente in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Borba in the 13th minute of play forced Valugas's goalkeeper Francisco Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexandre Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vítor Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Assis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Daniel Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, SC Caturela's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Neto came free, but Henrique Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Caturela's Sebastião Valente got a free kick in the 34th minute. Alexandre Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Porto having to interfere. In the 41st minute, José Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Armando Neto made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Armando Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Caturela's Henrique Assis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alexandre Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Caturela's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Borba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Armando Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Caturela's Henrique Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Neto in the 63rd minute of play. José Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Henrique Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, José Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valugas's supporters rose to their feet, but José Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, SC Caturela's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Neto came free, but Henrique Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Valente in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Caturela's goalkeeper Henrique Assis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Sebastião Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Caturela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Armando Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Caturela's zone, Xavier Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Assis came out of the goal and Xavier Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Neto in the 96th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Armando Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valugas's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valugas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
