SC Ruivais's Adolfo Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Barbosa in the 62nd minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, SC Colgadeiros's Rui Leal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Leal in the 88th minute of play forced SC Ruivais's goalkeeper Adolfo Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Fonseca in the 93rd minute of the match. SC Colgadeiros's Diamantino Mendes got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Diamantino Mendes off the ground. After 96 played minutes SC Colgadeiros got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Mendes. 98 minutes into the match, SC Colgadeiros's goalkeeper Jorge Santarém had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Antunes. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Ruivais players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Colgadeiros.
