Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Cucana's Alexandre Ferreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When José Bessa fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jolda FC's protests and gave José Bessa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, José Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jolda FC's Nuno Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Ferreira in the 3rd minute of play. Tiago Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Cucana's Tiago Sá got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Alexandre Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pedroso having to interfere. Eduardo Moreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, António Pedroso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to SC Cucana getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Heitor Esteves hit a great ball. SC Cucana's António Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SC Cucana from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, SC Cucana's António Pedroso got control of the ball when Eduardo Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the game, Eusébio Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cucana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jolda FC the free kick. After 29 played minutes Jolda FC got a freekick which was hit by Simão Castro. Rogério Alves hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Alexandre Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but António Pedroso made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Ferreira in the 38th minute of play forced Jolda FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 45 minutes into the game, Jolda FC's Eduardo Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. António Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Castro made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Eusébio Oliveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Pacheco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alexandre Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cucana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jolda FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Bruno Melo scored to the left of an out of position Nuno Pacheco, making the score, 1-1. Jolda FC's Simão Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alexandre Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cucana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Jolda FC's Eduardo Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Pedroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nuno Pacheco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Melo in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Melo got free with Nuno Pacheco in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuno Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Cristiano Queirós hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jolda FC's Nuno Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Ferreira in the 86th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
