SC Evora's Hélder Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SC Evora from getting a goal against them. Nuno Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Ramos having to interfere. Amadeu Domingues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Jesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Augusto Jesus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeu Domingues. Augusto Jesus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With a little luck, Cartaxaria FC's Amadeu Domingues got control of the ball when Augusto Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nuno Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Azevedo during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cartaxaria FC's Nuno Ramos pulled a muscle in his leg after 99 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 99 minutes, Bruno Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Evora and the Cartaxaria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 99th minute of the game. One of SC Evora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cartaxaria FC:s goal. In the 102nd minute there was a penalty for Cartaxaria FC. Sérgio Campos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hélder Ramos. 2-3.
