In the 15th match minute, Manariz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Costa to maneuver through the defense. If David Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When João Campos fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manariz FC's protests and gave João Campos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manariz FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. João Campos hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Bezerral's Domingos Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Costa in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Marco Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Bezerral's Duarte Veiga got a free kick in the 86th minute. Marco Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Silva in the 95th minute of the match. Fernando Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Silva's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. SC Bezerral were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manariz FC for a fine match.
