After a rather tough play, Luilhas's Marco Abreu got a free kick in the 9th minute. Basílio Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferro in the 22nd minute of play. If Rodrigo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Rui Baptista fired a really elegant long shot, but Nuno Nunes threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Nunes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Basílio Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basílio Paiva came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nuno Nunes could save by the left post. Nuno Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rabaca FC. 64 minutes in the game, Basílio Paiva dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luilhas's goalkeeper Nuno Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Cunha made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Afonso Paredes sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferro in the 69th minute of play. Rabaca FC's Rodrigo Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Rabaca FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Paredes. In the 76th match minute, Luilhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Ferro to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Basílio Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Nunes. Rabaca FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
