Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Faria started the match with the kick off. If Jorge Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Lucas Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Branco got free with Diamantino Cruz in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ervins booed when SC Malhadinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ervins's Jorge Faria in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Malhadinhas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute Luís Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Cruz made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when André Branco sent off a good shot on target. After 18 minutes, Cândido Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ervins and the SC Malhadinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Cândido Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ervins's zone, André Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Cruz came out of the goal and André Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Malhadinhas's Rodrigo Moutinho got a free kick in the 25th minute. A hard shot 32 in the game by André Branco from a close distance when the talented Diamantino Cruz managed to make a qualified save. Ervins's players were relieved. André Branco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucas Andrade had several of the Ervins's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Diamantino Cruz as he didn't even see the shot coming. 48 minutes into the match, André Branco notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ervins's Diamantino Cruz. Diamantino Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Luís Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Faria in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Vítor Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Campos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Diogo Amaral was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jorge Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luís Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Jorge Faria took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Luís Trindade to make any attempt to save it. If Jorge Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Esteves in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Jorge Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Trindade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luís Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Ervins's Jorge Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luís Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 98 minutes of play, SC Malhadinhas's Lucas Andrade made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there!
