A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Falfosa's goalkeeper Xavier Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Rodrigues. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Rodrigues in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavier Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Torres hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Vilar's Adelino Pinto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Sérgio Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. António Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. António Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrique Setúbal fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilar's protests and gave Henrique Setúbal a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Setúbal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. António Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sérgio Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cristiano Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Pinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xavier Reis. Falfosa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Morais in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Sérgio Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Macedo in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Macedo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Ribeiro got free with António Ramos in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. António Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Reis having to interfere. António Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Xavier Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliveira Alves hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Xavier Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Morais in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Falfosa got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Torres. In the 94th minute António Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
