Plisqueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bigorne FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Plisqueira's Cláudio Vaz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Vítor Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Bigorne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Plisqueira's Oliveira Leal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Bigorne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Esteves came free, but Bruno Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Vítor Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plisqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bigorne FC's Bruno Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Esteves in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Vítor Martins made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Lopes. Bigorne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eusébio Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Amorim during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute of the match Oliveira Leal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Lopes skillfully saved the ball. After 42 minutes of play, Bigorne FC's Vítor Sá made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alexandre Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrique Ribeiro to make the kick off. Bigorne FC's Bruno Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Martins in the 54th minute of play. Xavier Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Vítor Martins took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Bruno Lopes to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute, Plisqueira's Vítor Martins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Lopes. Bruno Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Afonso Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Sá's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Plisqueira's Vítor Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vítor Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Lopes was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Alexandre Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bruno Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Plisqueira got a freekick which was hit by Luís Baptista. Afonso Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Ribeiro in the 88th minute of the match. Henrique Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Vítor Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Gonçalves. Plisqueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Plisqueira's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
