Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Faro got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, SC Sambade's Raul Faro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mário Pedroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 5 minutes, Lourenço Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sambade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Raul Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Sambade's protests and gave Manuel Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Sambade's Manuel Pereira got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, SC Deveza's Joaquim Fernandes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When SC Deveza's Bento Assis in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pedro Baptista had several of the SC Sambade's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ricardo Brito as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mário Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Pacheco in the 24th minute of play. Mário Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Deveza's Mário Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Faro in the 27th minute of play. After 27 played minutes SC Deveza got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Lisboa. Lourenço Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Raul Faro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário Pedroso. SC Deveza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Faro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pedro Baptista struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ricardo Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Deveza. A collision led to SC Sambade getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cândido Gaspar hit a great ball. Pedro Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ricardo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Bento Assis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Sambade's Ricardo Brito. Ricardo Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pedro Baptista made the kick off in the second half. Raul Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Pedroso having to interfere. Mário Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sambade's zone, Pedro Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Brito came out of the goal and Pedro Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mário Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, SC Sambade's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Assis came free, but Ricardo Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When SC Deveza's Bento Assis in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Sambade's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute Pedro Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Lourenço Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Mário Pedroso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SC Deveza supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Sambade's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Sambade.
