João Moreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Gaspar Valente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Rocha in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Moreira got free with Gaspar Valente in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Melo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Valente saved Requeixo FC from getting behind. João Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gaspar Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Requeixo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Melo came free, but Gaspar Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Requeixo FC's Américo Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Rocha to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Vicente Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Valente. Requeixo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pedro Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Armindo Anjos charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Anjos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Jamprestes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Armindo Anjos hit a great ball. João Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Melo in the 75th minute of play forced Requeixo FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Requeixo FC's Américo Rocha got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 85 played minutes, SC Jamprestes's David Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaspar Valente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Jamprestes reached it. Vicente Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Valente having to interfere. Pedro Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Rocha in the 90th minute of play. In the 95thth minute of the game Américo Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Jamprestes's Pedro Trindade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
