Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júlio Mota kicked off to start the match. Mariano Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Momprole getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joel Pedroso hit a great ball. Miguel Amaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Lopes. Lazaro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute Júlio Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Momprole's Joel Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mariano Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Setúbal took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Lopes. Mariano Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute of the match Miguel Amaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Lopes skillfully saved the ball. Joel Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Lopes having to interfere. Mariano Simões made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Afonso Esteves sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mariano Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Momprole were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Setúbal made a kick off. Afonso Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mariano Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Lazaro FC's Mariano Lopes got control of the ball when Joel Pedroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Momprole's Joel Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lazaro FC's Mariano Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Setúbal in the 66th minute of play. If Gil Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Miguel Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Rui Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Mota in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Mota scored 1-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Mota in the 83rd minute of play. Mariano Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Esteves in the 84th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
