In the 32nd minute, Carlos Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Inácio Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Filipe Aguiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filipe Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Garcia in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Rui Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Gaspar. SC Cercadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Hélder Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Domingos Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute Hélder Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Inácio Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Aguiar. Sanceriz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Garcia in the 68th minute of play forced Sanceriz FC's goalkeeper Filipe Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Emanuel Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cercadas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanceriz FC the free kick. After 74 played minutes SC Cercadas got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Amaral. In the 79th minute, Rui Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Gaspar having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Rui Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanceriz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SC Cercadas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Emanuel Amaral hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Hélder Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Cercadas had won after a very even match.
