In the 63rd minute, Heitor Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Veiga hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bento Leiria during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
