Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Álvaro Resende took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernardo Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match, Álvaro Resende tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandre Ferro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Francisco Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bernardo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Carvalho during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sequeira getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Manuel Carvalho hit a great ball. Ricardo Domingues was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Sequeira got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Gonçalves. In the 31st minute of the match Ricardo Domingues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Ferro skillfully saved the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Faja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Mota came free, but Bernardo Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Filipe Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faja FC and the Sequeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Faja FC's Filipe Alves got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Faja FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Carlos Porto hit a great ball. Bernardo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Mota in the 46th minute of play. Joel Santarém charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Santarém the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Santarém hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Amaro was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Sequeira's zone, Pedro Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Ferro came out of the goal and Pedro Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Faja FC's Álvaro Resende got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Sequeira's Bernardo Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jacinto Moreira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sequeira's Manuel Carvalho got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Manuel Carvalho off the ground. In the 65th match minute, Sequeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Rafael Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Ferro came out of the goal and Álvaro Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Ferro came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Faja FC's Pedro Alves. But to his dismay, Pedro Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Faja FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sequeira for a fine match.
