Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Brito got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Brito in the 9th minute of play forced Tagarro's goalkeeper Sandro Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tagarro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guardais the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tagarro's Ricardo Borges got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Oliveira Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Artur Brás made a huge save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliveira Matias was the one to do the kick off. Artur Brás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenço Torres's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Bernardo Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tagarro's Lourenço Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Guardais's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Torres came free, but Artur Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Lourenço Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tagarro and the Guardais players grew even worse after the yellow card.
