Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oliveira Matias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sandro Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Leite in the 2nd minute of the match. SC Merelo's Rodrigo Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Matias in the 9th minute of play. Oliveira Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliveira Matias's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Tagarro's Gustavo Leão got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lourenço Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Freitas having to interfere. Carlos Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Tagarro's Alfredo Pedroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliveira Matias in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Freitas saved SC Merelo from getting behind. Rodrigo Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Leite to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Tagarro got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Borges. After 58 played minutes SC Merelo got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Sá. The audience was convinced that Oliveira Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Freitas was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, SC Merelo's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Matias came free, but Rodrigo Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Gustavo Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64thth minute of the game Carlos Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tagarro's Sandro Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Alfredo Pedroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Freitas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Gomes during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Merelo's Lúcio Gomes got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Carlos Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Mendes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Merelo's Augusto Leite. But to his dismay, Augusto Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tagarro's zone, Carlos Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Mendes came out of the goal and Carlos Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Tagarro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Merelo:s goal. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for SC Merelo. Lucas Santarém stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sandro Mendes. 2-0. If Carlos Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
