Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cilhade's Adolfo Cunha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Rocha in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Betunes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Domingues to maneuver through the defense. When André Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Betunes's protests and gave André Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. André Esteves hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Fernando Moniz made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Manuel Leal sent off a good shot on target. If Filipe Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cilhade booed when Betunes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Duarte Almeida sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Betunes's Fernando Moniz didn't even have to move. Fernando Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Cunha in the 24th minute of play. Humberto Miranda came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Betunes's Filipe Domingues. But to his dismay, Filipe Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernando Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Manuel Leal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Moniz came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Leal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Inácio Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Moniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fernando Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joaquim Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cilhade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Domingues couldn't finish the play. Humberto Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Domingues in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Domingues to make the kick off. Cilhade's Humberto Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Domingues in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Filipe Domingues rounded Cilhade's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. If Filipe Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Filipe Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Betunes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Cilhade's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Domingues came free, but Humberto Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cilhade's Duarte Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Esteves hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cilhade's Manuel Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Cunha in the 82nd minute of play forced Betunes's goalkeeper Fernando Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Moniz having to interfere. André Esteves was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Betunes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
