Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Domingos Maia made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Amadeu Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Armando Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Marques's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Lazaro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Marques came free, but Nuno Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Luís Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Armando Ramos made a huge save. Luís Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute of the match Paulo Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domingos Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Luís Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Lazaro FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carvalho. Lazaro FC's Jorge Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when André Assunção made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Cergas's Bento Matias got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Lazaro FC's André Assunção in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cergas's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Armando Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Cergas's Domingos Maia in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lazaro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luís Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When José Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lazaro FC's protests and gave José Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Cergas booed when Lazaro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luís Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SC Cergas defense, André Assunção kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Ramos. The SC Cergas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Ramos should have stopped the shot. Nuno Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Jorge Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Ramos was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. If Jorge Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 1-2 became the score in the 83rd minute when Luís Marques elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Luís Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cergas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When André Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lazaro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Assunção couldn't finish the play. If Luís Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
