Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuel Pinho made the kick off which started today's match. If Emanuel Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Borba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Matias having to make a save. David Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sandiais's David Miranda got a free kick in the 19th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Sandiais's goalkeeper Duarte Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Gueifão. In the 38thth minute of the game Carlos Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandiais's Duarte Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afonso Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Matias having to interfere. When Diamantino Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alcheriubem's protests and gave Diamantino Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, SC Alcheriubem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Gomes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Borba in the 47th minute of play forced SC Alcheriubem's goalkeeper João Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Sandiais's Afonso Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Alcheriubem's João Matias got control of the ball when Domingos Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Afonso Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Alcheriubem's Emanuel Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandiais's Duarte Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Gueifão in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandiais's goalkeeper Duarte Faria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Sandiais supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sandiais would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
