António Gonçalves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, André Freitas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alexandre Marques's late challenge caught a Torrinheiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Marques helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arnadelo's Alexandre Marques got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Manuel Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Arnadelo defense, Vítor Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Santos. The Arnadelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Santos should have stopped the shot. If Manuel Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afonso Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Arnadelo got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Macedo. The audience held their breath when André Azevedo in the 23rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rui Santos's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Torrinheiras's André Azevedo got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Arnadelo's Luís Carneiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vítor Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Santos having to interfere. After 41 minutes of play, Torrinheiras's Vítor Dias made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Dias in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Dias made a kick off. David Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. André Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Torrinheiras got a freekick which was hit by Rui Moutinho. António Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Freitas having to interfere. If Vítor Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Dias in the 59th minute of the match. When Manuel Lima came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Torrinheiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Manuel Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrinheiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Vítor Dias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rui Santos, 0-4. André Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Torrinheiras getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joel Rodrigues hit a great ball. Rui Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Óscar Castro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. David Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. André Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Vítor Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrinheiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. André Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Arnadelo's António Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Torrinheiras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
