If Lúcio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, SC Tomadias's goalkeeper Fernando Morais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Lima. After 28 minutes SC Tomadias's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in André Azevedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Tomadias's Fernando Morais did a great save. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Tomadias's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Torrinheiras's players had a chance to rest. André Azevedo made a great header on Torrinheiras's corner, it was just that SC Tomadias's Fernando Morais managed to reach the ball for a save.
