In the 4th minute, Marco Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Lisboa. SC Guilheta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, SC Guilheta's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Mendes came free, but Alfredo Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Marco Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Guilheta's zone, Hugo Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Lisboa came out of the goal and Hugo Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Marco Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Lisboa having to interfere. Hugo Mendes struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Alfredo Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvaldinho. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Faro to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Esteves got free with Alfredo Lisboa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marco Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Silvaldinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Esteves couldn't finish the play. António Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 57 minutes, João Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Guilheta's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If António Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Esteves got free with Alfredo Lisboa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amílcar Almeida hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Silvaldinho's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Dantas came free, but Gabriel Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Jorge Matias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silvaldinho and the SC Guilheta players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the game, one of Silvaldinho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Augusto Dantas scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Sá's late challenge caught a SC Guilheta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Sá helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Sá hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. António Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Marco Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silvaldinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvaldinho's Gabriel Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Faro in the 93rd minute of play. If João Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 minutes of play, Silvaldinho's Alfredo Pires made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Lisboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SC Guilheta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Silvaldinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
