Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amílcar Macedo started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Afonso Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Catarino Garcia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emílio Simões came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Alqueidao's Afonso Guarda. But to his dismay, Afonso Guarda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Miguel Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Domingos Henriques struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Emílio Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alqueidao. Adelino Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moutinho having to interfere. If Domingos Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Guarda in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Amílcar Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mandim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Mandim's Amílcar Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Moutinho. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Viriato Assunção fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Mandim's protests and gave Viriato Assunção a yellow card for diving instead. Amílcar Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Adelino Martins made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Moutinho. SC Alqueidao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 61st minute, Domingos Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Mandim's Viriato Assunção got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Viriato Assunção off the ground. A collision led to SC Mandim getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Viriato Assunção hit a great ball. Emílio Simões made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Domingos Henriques sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Afonso Guarda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emílio Simões, passed just outside the right post. Miguel Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Martins in the 76th minute of the match. Augusto Pinho hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Afonso Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Simões having to interfere. A hard shot 86 in the game by Domingos Henriques from a close distance when the talented Emílio Simões managed to make a qualified save. SC Mandim's players were relieved. SC Mandim's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Domingos Henriques scored to the left of an out of position Emílio Simões, making the score, 2-2.
