Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Regueira FC's João Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Regueira FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonçalo Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Lima. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 10th minute Lúcio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Viana succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. A collision led to Pomarao FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Vasco Assis hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Carlos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Viana in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Gonçalo Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Lima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Regueira FC's João Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Regueira FC from getting a goal against them. If Gonçalo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Regueira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Gonçalo Antunes scored to the left of an out of position João Lima, making the score, 2-1. If Joaquim Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Bernardo Leiria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pomarao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regueira FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Pomarao FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Leiria. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Antunes was the one to do the kick off. Gonçalo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Lima having to interfere. Joaquim Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 64 played minutes Pomarao FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Assis. Carlos Viana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Rafael Moura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joaquim Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Lima having to interfere. Joaquim Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Carlos Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regueira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carlos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Regueira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Santos couldn't finish the play. Carlos Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Moura having to interfere. Pomarao FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Santos 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. With a little luck, Pomarao FC's Rafael Moura got control of the ball when Carlos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pomarao FC's Rafael Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santos in the 93rd minute of play. Regueira FC's Carlos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
