Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when António Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Paulo Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, André Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinhosela's supporters rose to their feet, but André Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Moutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rogério Borges made a huge save. Quintans's Rogério Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Matos in the 21st minute of play. André Moutinho in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rogério Borges, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Quintans's zone, André Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Borges came out of the goal and André Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heitor Magalhães in the 31st minute. Paulo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Borges having to interfere. In the 35th minute, André Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Matos in the 44th minute of play forced Quintans's goalkeeper Rogério Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Moutinho in the 52nd minute of play forced Quintans's goalkeeper Rogério Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Quintans's goal looked a bit too open when André Moutinho came free, but Rogério Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinhosela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Óscar Simões 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 62nd minute Paulo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quintans's António Leal in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espinhosela's goalie prevented a goal. António Leal struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. João Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quintans. When André Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Espinhosela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Moutinho couldn't finish the play. After 86 played minutes Quintans got a freekick which was hit by Américo Paredes. Rogério Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Matos in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Quintans were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Espinhosela side.
