Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristóvão Monteiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Heitor Leão came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Lercas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Leão couldn't finish the play. Américo Costa struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Afonso Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lercas. Américo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Mota having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marcolos's zone, Américo Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Mota came out of the goal and Américo Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Coelho having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Assis during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcolos's Afonso Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Leão in the 36th minute of play. Cristóvão Monteiro scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes in the game, Paulo Mendes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Américo Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Afonso Mota made a huge save. Afonso Mota was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manuel Delgado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heitor Leão to make the kick off. Paulo Mendess short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got David Coelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Mota having to interfere. If Heitor Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lercas booed when Marcolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, one of Marcolos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marcolos. Afonso Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristóvão Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcolos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Leão in the 90th minute of play forced Marcolos's goalkeeper Afonso Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Marcolos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Miguel Castro hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Américo Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Leão in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Mota saved Marcolos from getting behind. Paulo Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
