Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rogério Gaspar kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, SC Ermentao's Alfredo Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Basílio Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ermentao's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Ramos got free with Ricardo Borges in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Ermentao's Basílio Leal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Borges. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. A collision led to Castelaos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristiano Esteves hit a great ball. Alfredo Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Ricardo Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. SC Ermentao's Joel Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Gaspar in the 17th minute of play. If Rogério Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Rogério Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Basílio Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 41st minute, Castelaos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredo Ramos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Basílio Leal made the kick off in the second half. José Melo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Joel Leão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Castelaos booed when SC Ermentao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Melo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joel Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelaos. Basílio Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. José Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Castelaos defense, Basílio Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Borges. The Castelaos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Borges should have stopped the shot. Basílio Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ricardo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Gaspar in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84thth minute of the game Rogério Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ermentao's Joel Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basílio Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catarino Pinho hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Nuno Paredes in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ricardo Borges's left hand side. Joel Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Gaspar in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Ermentao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Castelaos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
