João Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gaspar Resende scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Alexandre Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Leite succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Paulo Nascimento hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Povoa FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Leite in the 56th minute of play forced Povoa FC's goalkeeper Vítor Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Leite in the 61st minute of the match. Gaspar Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vítor Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaspar Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Povoa FC's protests and gave Paulo Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, one of Povoa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Povoa FC. The referee gave Barrocas a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Carvalho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Povoa FC's Vítor Carvalho. 3-1. After 97 minutes, Gaspar Resende made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Povoa FC's Vítor Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barrocas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Povoa FC for a fine match.
