Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Assunção kicked off to start the match. Amílcar Neto hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Crespos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Henriques came free, but Paulo Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Henrique Maia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. Miguel Assunção blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Carvalho having to make a save. After 21 played minutes Povoa FC got a freekick which was hit by António Amaro. Marco Henriques hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Vítor Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Povoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Vale. Amadeu Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paulo Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Duarte Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marco Henriques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Oliveira was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When Marco Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Povoa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Henriques couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Henriques to make the kick off. Amadeu Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Duarte Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Carvalho having to interfere. When Crespos FC's Duarte Gonçalves in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marco Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Paulo Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armindo Matias hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Paulo Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 90 minutes into the match, Povoa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Assunção came free, but Vítor Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Povoa FC's Vítor Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Gonçalves in the 95th minute of play. Miguel Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vítor Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
