Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Óscar Gonçalves made the kick off and thus started the match. Óscar Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Macedo having to interfere. Óscar Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. João Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Júlio Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SC Deveseira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Aleixo couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, SC Deveseira's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Gonçalves came free, but João Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Óscar Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Óscar Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Deveseira's goalkeeper João Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Balazeima's Diamantino Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Deveseira's zone, Diamantino Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Macedo came out of the goal and Diamantino Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Gonçalves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Macedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Óscar Gonçalves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Diamantino Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. João Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Aleixo made a kick off. SC Balazeima's Diamantino Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Gonçalves in the 54th minute of play forced SC Deveseira's goalkeeper João Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Leite hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Diamantino Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diamantino Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Macedo having to interfere. Cláudio Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Aleixo in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Júlio Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Deveseira's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Gonçalves's late challenge caught a SC Balazeima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Deveseira! João Macedo went to the wrong direction when Fernando Esteves was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Júlio Aleixo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cláudio Brás. Júlio Aleixo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2.
